Rainy Day Session

Today looked like a gloomy, rainy, yukky day. And it was! Today was the day Caitrin and I set aside to head up to Lincoln Park in West Seattle to take advantage of some fall color. We don’t get a lot of fall color here in the Northwest, but today, we found some. Caitrin and I had to slug through the mud to get there, but we found what we were looking for; a grove of colorful trees with a bench to sit on. A wet bench. These are some of my favorite portraits of Caitrin. I hope you enjoy them.

Spartan Pride

I’d like to introduce you to Nick. Nick is a terrific senior from Sumner High School. He has an obvious love for football and was excited to have his senior portraits done wearing his jersey on the field at Sunset Stadium. This is a great location! It really embodies who Nick is and what he spends his time doing. I hope you enjoy some of Nicks photos.

Thanks for the great session, Nick. I wish you all the best during your senior year:)

Caitrin’s Senior Shoot #2

Today, Caitrin and I headed to the thriving metropolis of Downtown Puyallup:) Caitrin thought that an urban setting would be a  good backdrop to her choice in attire for her second senior shoot, and due to a limited time schedule (she is  busy girl) we needed to shoot somewhere close by.  If you have been following, we have decided to try something different with Caitrin; a session each month, to fully document her senior year. I have to admit, it has been  difficult to get a shoot in so often, but we are determined. I hope you enjoy a few of my selected examples of this beautiful young lady. She is a treasure!

Beautiful Brianna

Last weekend I had the opportunity to meet and photograph Brianna for her senior portraits. Brianna told me she likes fields, water and barns, so my instinct was to take her to the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge just north of Olympia. She had never been to the refuge before, but I could see the approval in her eyes when we rounded the corner and came upon the pair of barns on the property. The morning started out with some fog and low clouds, but the sky quickly opened up for the sunny day she had been hoping for. Brianna is a beautiful young lady from Graham-Kapowsin  High School with big dreams and hopes for her future. Thank you, Brianna, for giving me the honor of being your photographer at this exciting and fun time in your life. I wish you the very best. Have an awesome senior year!!

Caitrin’s Senior Photos

It was a beautiful afternoon at Owen Beach at Pt Defiance! A beautiful day for a beautiful young woman to have her senior portraits done. Caitrin will be starting her senior year at Franklin Pierce High School this fall. We have decided to try something different with her. Cat and I will be spreadng her senior session out over the course of the school year, shooting a mini session each month, and taking advantage of the many different sports and activities she has as well as all of the seasons throughout the year. This was our first session: Casual day at the beach. Look for some of Cat’s future sessions, as well: soccer, rainy day, snowy winter, Seahawks special and formal Prom. Thanks, Caitrin, for a great time out! You are a terrific model with an afinity for fun:) Here’s to a great senior year!!

Cogratulations Logan! 2014 Puyallup High School Grad

Logan and I met up a couple of weeks ago for his Senior photo shoot at the Puyallup Library and Pioneer Park, downtown Puyallup. Logan is a terrific young man with a love for creative writing (maybe I should have had him write this:). I had a great time with Logan. He is easy going and fun to shoot. I love Logan’s style! Thanks for the great session, Logan. We wish you much joy and success at Western.

Jacob’s Senior Photos

This afternoon, I had the distinct pleasure to do a quick photo session for Jacob, an Auburn Riverside Graduate. Jacob stopped in for some headshots, and I am so happy with how they turned out. These last minute shoots are some of my favorites. Thank you, Jacob, for letting me be a small part of this exciting time in your life. Best wishes to you on your future endeavors.

Alden-PHS 2014

Recently, I had the distinct honor of photographing Alden for his senior year. What an amazing young man!  Alden is gifted in the arts, so it was only fitting that he wanted his shoot at the Puyallup High School Performing Arts Center, where he spends much of his time. This was a unique location for me to shoot a senior, and I was so pleased with the unique backgrounds this location had to offer.

Thank you for the opportunity to honor your career at PHS, Alden.  It was a pleasure to meet you and your family.  Best wishes to you and your successful future.

Blessings,

~Lynette

Girls Soccer-FPHS vs. Sumner

It has been a great soccer season for the Franklin Pierce high School girls, and they are now preparing for the last couple of regular season games.  Looks like they will be on to the play offs in November! These ladies have put in great effort and tremendous sportsmanship this year. With all of their hard work and new coaching staff (thanks Coaches Green and Pich!) they are poised for a quality record this year. Please enjoy a few photos from Thursday’s game against the powerhouse, Sumner.

Go Cards!

Brett-Class of 2014

I had the great honor to photograph Brett this past weekend. What an awesome guy! We had a great time shooting his senior photos in downtown Tacoma near the Museum of Glass and UW Tacoma. Brett is a terrific athlete (this season on the football field) and so fun loving. As you can see from this small sample from his senior session, Brett is all smiles and spreads joy to all he comes in contact with. I can hardly wait ’til we meet up for the second half of his senior session. I am calling it the “stadium shoot”, where we will be concentrating on all things football. Enjoy these few photos of Brett, and stay tuned for round two!

Congratulations, Brett! We wish you the very best for your senior year and all that life will bring you. You truly are a light in this world.
